Oil spot market prices steadily declined on September 16

Today, soybean oil opened 7106, closing at 7196 on the previous trading day. Palm oil opened 5416, closing at 5470 on the previous trading day. Zheng oil opened 7512 on the previous trading day and 7584 on the previous trading day. Domestic spot quotations fell by 50-100 yuan/ton today. The spot price of first-class coastal soybean oil is 7120-7480 yuan/ton, while the spot price of 24-degree palm oil is concentrated in 5400-5900 yuan/ton.
Over the past week, the auction of 500,000 tons of soybean stored in the State ended. The actual turnover was 346,700 tons, with a turnover rate of 69.16%, with an average transaction price of 3,940 yuan per ton. Excluding Tuesday, spot market turnover was slightly better, but other trading days were very light, mainly due to the influence of market hedging sentiment before the report was released. Spot oil rose by 1.17% and palm oil fell by 0.3%. According to customs data, the import volume of vegetable oil in August was 730,000 tons, an increase of 16.6% over the same period last year.
