The ranking of edible vegetable oil output in 2015: Tianjin No. 1
Release Time:2016-04-15
From January to December 2015, the national output of edible vegetable oil was 67.3424 million tons. Among them, the output of edible vegetable oil in Tianjin is 76.193 million tons, accounting for 11.3% of the total output of edible vegetable oil in China, which has become the highest production area of edible vegetable oil in China.
The top ten edible vegetable oil production provinces and cities in 2015 are Tianjin, Hubei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Henan, Guangxi, Hunan, Heilongjiang and Liaoning. The output of each province and city is 7.6193 million tons, 7.4533 million tons, 6.9417 million tons, 6.0316 million tons, 5.128 million tons, 4.3619 million tons, 3.3377 million tons, 3.196 million tons, 2.555 million tons and 2.4579 million tons, respectively.
The output of edible vegetable oil in the first three provinces (Tianjin, Hubei and Shandong) accounts for 32.7% of the national output.
Why are the Statistics Bureau data on the high side?
The above data, industry insiders expressed puzzlement: the ranking and proportion of provinces and municipalities is similar, but the total output is high.
At present, the data used by the oil industry are basically from the National Grain and Oil Information Center, the National Food Administration and, of course, the United States Department of Agriculture - in recent years, the domestic production of edible oil and vegetable oil plus imports, the annual total supply should be about 33 million tons.
"In 2013, the national integrated edible oil processing enterprises of the State Food Administration counted the production of edible oil at 45.83 million tons. After deducting 12.43 million tons of refined domestic crude oil purchased from enterprises and 4.6 million tons of refined domestic refined oil purchased from enterprises, that is, 17.73 million tons, the actual production of edible oil was 28.8 million tons. - Wang Ruiyuan, China's Grain and Oil Production, Consumption and Oil Industry Development in 2014
Why is the data of the National Bureau of Statistics much higher?
For this strange phenomenon, in 2011, Ho Jiefu, School of Statistics, Renmin University of China, and Zhang Bo, State-owned Enterprise Commission, wrote "How much is the consumption and supply of edible vegetable oil in China?" 》 It is pointed out that:
"China's edible vegetable oil production data published by the National Bureau of Statistics may be much higher than the true level, not excluding the possibility of false figures from local governments. The main reason for the high statistics is that there are three kinds of double calculation about vegetable oil production:
The first is that domestic enterprises take the crude oil produced into the vegetable oil production. Other enterprises buy these crude oil and refine it, and then take the processed products into the vegetable oil production again.
The second is that some enterprises will buy the finished vegetable oils for sub-packaging, the only part of the re-loading into the production;
The third is the repeated calculation between foreign imports and domestic production. That is to say, crude oil imported from abroad is recorded as vegetable oil imports when imported, but refined by domestic processing plants is included in domestic vegetable oil production. "
